WALK IN SHOWERS
SHOWERING MADE EASY
For those in a wheelchair, the walk-in shower tray can be on the same level as the rest of the bathroom floor. With many special safety features, walk-in shower rooms greatly reduce the need to depend on having assistance in the bathroom, thereby preserving independence and dignity.
Depending on your specific needs, walk-in showers can have full height screens which open outwards, or half-height panels, to give your carer enough space to assist with showering whilst minimising the water spillage into the rest of the bathroom. In addition, a control unit located outside the walk-in shower space could also help the carer.
Walk-in showers are very easy to keep clean as there are fewer places for dirt and grime to accumulate. Unlike a standard shower enclosure with a track for the screen doors, there are no runners or metal pieces which attract corrosion. The tempered safety glass screen has a ClearScreen protective coating which helps it stay crystal clear and prevents the build-up of limescale.
Our walk-in showers are designed to complement your bathroom, suiting any size and shape, however unusual, and blending in harmoniously with existing décor. We all have different ideas of how we want our bathroom space to look, and walk-in showers can be designed to suit your chosen style, whether that’s modern minimalist or more traditional.
A frameless glass shower screen can even make a small bathroom look more spacious and open. Our tempered glass safety screens offer versatility of design and pattern options including coloured, frosted or engraved.
The cost of a walk-in shower will vary depending on your individual requirements and the size and shape of the shower space. We don’t believe in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach because we understand that everyone has their own individual needs and that bathrooms come in all shapes and sizes.
